Today is the day! Hooray! Today is the day my class is LIVE at the Upcycling Sewing Summit! If you have wandered over here from that class, welcome!
I am so excited about this class being live, I can't even tell you. I hope you enjoyed making your tote bags as much as I did, and if you have any questions, you should absolutely email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I also have created a little something for everyone who watched my class at the Upcycling Sewing Summit. Planning out the size of your tote bag and more importantly, figuring out how big to cut your bag pieces, can be the most difficult and time consuming part of making these bags (and honestly, doing the math is my least favorite part of sewing). So I have created a FREE tote bag planning page!
All you have to do is click here to sign up for weekly (ish) updates from me and get the free planning page! It will come in a zipped file, in both US letter and A4 paper size, and includes space to write out how big you want your bag to be and all the calculations you need to figure out how big to cut your bag pieces.
Thank you again to everyone who watched my class! I would love to see your finished bags, feel free to either put them in comment below, tag me on Instagram @a_crafty_phoenix or send me an email!
Also, I loved making these bags so much, I decided to try to make a clutch out of toddler t-shirt. I'll be posting a tutorial for that here on Friday, so be sure to visit me again for that!
