Okay, I have to have a brief interlude here for advertising.
I'M TEACHING A CLASS AT THE UPCYCLING SEWING SUMMIT!!!!!!!!
I'm a little excited about it. Also a little nervous.
I will be teaching everyone how to take those old t-shirts that are never worn anymore, but you just can't bear to get rid of, and turn them into tote bags.
(I'm not the only one with a box or two...or five...of those in my storage, right? Right?
No? Just me? Okay, cool. Carry on)
I keep telling myself that I'm going to make a quilt (or five...) out of them, but it has yet to happen. And I'm probably still going to turn some of them into a quilt (someday...), but those shirts that won't fit into any quilt theme can still be upcycled into something new and beautiful and useful!
